It's not quite usual for Venice, but it happens sometime in winter to have days when the light is particularly bright and crisp. When the "bora", the north-east wind, blows from Trieste, its chilly and dry air cleans the sky from clouds and mist but also relieves the soul and mind of people; then, the colors of Venice become more intense and vivid, and so does the city itself. Its houses, palaces and people seem to reborn to new life.
