• Among the many celebrations held in Venice, the Feast of Our Lady of Health is one of the most deeply perceived by the population for its strong religious feeling and is by far the least "touristy" of all local events.
Even today, thousands of people walk in line through the votive bridge of boats to go on pilgrimage to the Church of the Salute; there, they patiently wait in queue to light a candle to pay homage to Our Lady, praying her to intercede for their health.
