• Cà Foscari (last at right), the palace of the Foscari family, one of the oldest and most prestigious families of the history of Venice, a forge of doges and leading (and controversial as well) political figures of the Venetian Republic during the centuries since its foundation.
It's now the home of the University of Venice, and where once echoed the voices of the most powerful personalities of the Serenissima Republic, today those same halls are filled with the sounds of a much more carefree youth.
